Mother Births Five Babies for First Time in Czech History
Doctors at the Institute for the Care of Mother and Child (UPMD) in the Czech capital Prague carried out a major caesarean operation on Sunday June 2 .
They helped the mother deliver four boys and one girl.
Mother Alexandra Kinova delivered her babies at 7am local time with the help of 40 specialists, making it a first recorded quintuplet delivery in Czech history.
Experts planned the operation for one month, according to the UPMD press office.
Doctor Zbynek Stranak led the team who delivered the five babies.
He says all children are in a stable condition.
