Matt Damon Goes on Toilet Strike
Matt Damon will no longer go to the bathroom.
Or at least so says a new public service announcement the Oscar-winning actor stars in to raise awareness for clean water.
The co-founder of Water.org - a site dedicated to raising awareness and funding for clean water throughout the world - Damon staged a press conference saying that he will not be going to the bathroom until sanitation was available to everyone.
In the commercial, Damon says that 2.5 billion people do not have access to clean water.
[Matt Damon, Co-Founder of Water.Org]:
"More people have access to cell phones than clean water.”
The commercial encourages people to donate 25 dollars to Water.org's campaign, which says for that amount, one person can get clean water for life.
