In a bid to save China's economy, China's leaders are attempting to crack down on corrupt officials, especially "naked officials"—officials whose families are overseas, and who may potentially flee China. Rumor has it that the CCP's pressure has prompted some of them to pull their children—princelings—out of elite American and European schools and bring them back to China.
